Note. Be careful when handling fuel.
Before refueling, be sure to turn off the engine and, if necessary, also the auxiliary heaters with combustion chambers (indicated on the sticker on the fuel tank cap). Turn off mobile phones.
Fuel is highly flammable and may explode. When handling fuel, be sure there are no open flames or sparks in the vicinity. Do not smoke. This also applies to those places where the presence of fuel is noticeable only by its characteristic smell. If there is a smell of fuel in the cabin, the cause of its appearance should be eliminated immediately. It is recommended to contact a service station.
The filler neck is located on the right side of the car at the rear.
On Corsa vehicles with a central locking device, the filler flap is unlocked together with the doors.
Open the filling hatch. On a Combo vehicle, with the filler flap open, do not fully open the right sliding door to avoid damage.
To open the fuel tank cap, you need to unlock it with the ignition key, unscrew it and hang it on the filling hatch.
The fuel tank has a fill limiter to prevent overfilling the tank.
The correct filling is determined by the correct handling of the filling nozzle.
Insert the filling nozzle as far as it will go and turn it on.
After automatic shutdown, perform repeated metered refueling to the nominal capacity of the fuel tank. The filling nozzle must be left inserted as far as it will go.
To close the fuel tank cap, put it back in place and turn against resistance until you hear a click. Lock the fuel tank cap with the ignition key.
Close the filling hatch.
Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
