Removal



Remove the water drain shield.

Remove the front wiper motor.

Unlock and disconnect the front wiper motor wiring harness connector.

Remove the windshield wiper arm with the electric motor and unscrew the screw (see figure I).

Remove the linkage from the front wiper linkage handle 1.

Unscrew the handle from the electric motor, the electric motor from the lever mechanism, unscrew the screw (see figure II).

Remove the linkage system.

Remove the linkage system.


Remove the linkage system.


Remove 4 ball heads 1 through 3 from the clamps.

Installation



Install the electric motor onto the lever mechanism.

Note: Before installing the handle on the windshield wiper motor, connect the windshield wiper motor to the power supply and set it to the extreme position. Pay attention to the correct installation of the handle.




Insert the motor, tighten the screw.

Install the handle.

Install the front wiper motor with the linkage, tighten the screw.

Connect the wire harness connector.

Install the linkage system.

Secure 4 ball heads in clamps.

Install a water drain shield.

Install the windshield wiper arms, tighten the mounting nut to 14 N·m.

Perform basic adjustment of the windshield wiper arms.

  • Driver's side - about 5 cm;
  • Passenger side - about 4 cm.

Note: Set the wiper motor to the normal position.
