The low oil level warning light sensor is installed inside the oil sump, and the adapter block of its wiring harness is located in the wall of the oil sump. You can remove the sensor only after removing the oil sump.
You will need: TORX E10 socket, TORX T20 wrench, flat blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Remove the wiring harness retainer..
3.... and disconnect the block from the sensor adapter block.
4. Remove the oil pan (see Replacing the oil sump seal).
5. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a damper-oil receiver..
Note. The bolts are located in the recesses of the damper-oil receiver and therefore are not visible in the photo.
6.... and remove it.
7. Prying off the retaining ring of the sensor adapter with a screwdriver..
8.... take it off..
9.... and remove the adapter from the hole in the wall of the oil pan.
10. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the gauge of an alarm lamp of insufficient level of oil..
11.... and remove the sensor.
12. Use a screwdriver to pry off the rubber sealing ring of the sensor adapter block..
13.... and remove the ring.
Note. Replace the sealing ring of the adapter block of the signal lamp sensor of insufficient oil level with a new one each time the connection is disassembled.
14. Install the low oil level warning light sensor and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
