Fig. 1. Instrument panel: A – Front passenger airbag installation area; 1 – side nozzle of the HVAC system; 2 – instrument cluster; 3 – central nozzle of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system; 4 – information display; 5 – radio; 6 – control unit for heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (climate control); 7 – socket and USB port block; 8 – storage box

The decorative panel is a molded plastic part, attached with screws to the frame. The control devices, vehicle controls and the heating system are attached to the decorative panel using removable elements (air conditioning) and ventilation or climate control (depending on the configuration); covers that cover units located under the instrument panel or serve to install instruments and controls; heating and air conditioning system nozzles, glove compartment.

Work on dismantling the instrument panel is quite complex and requires high qualification of the performer. In this regard, this subsection describes only the removal of the glove boxes, since the removal of the right glove box is required to replace the cabin filter of the ventilation and air conditioning system, and the removal of the left glove box is necessary when removing the steering column and to gain full access to the fuse and relay mounting block located under the instrument panel. Removing other elements of the instrument panel (ventilation system nozzles, instrument cluster, information display, radio, interior heating and air conditioning control unit, switches installed in the console trim) described in the relevant sections.

If it is necessary to remove the instrument panel for replacement or to gain access to other components, contact a service station.

Warning! In zone A (see fig. 1) the instrument panel has a front passenger airbag. Unqualified removal of the instrument panel or repair of individual components may cause unexpected activation of the airbag, which in turn may result in injury.
