Note: The work is shown for the left seat, the right seat is removed in the same way.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Move the seat on the slides as far forward as possible (see Adjusting the position of the front seats).
3. Loosen the two bolts securing the skids to the body base…
Note: This is the location of the front seat rail mounting bolts.
4. …and unscrew the bolts.
5. Loosen the fastening of the lower point of the seat belt to the runners…
6. …unscrew the bolt…
7. …and disconnect the belt bracket from the seat.
8. Lift the back of the seat…
9. …slide it back and remove the hooks at the bottom of the sled (the hook on the left skid is shown in the photo by the arrow, the hook on the right skid is located similarly) from the grooves in the base of the body.
10. Move the seat to the side and fold back the cut-out section of floor carpet underneath, revealing the seat wiring harness connector.
11. Slide the locking mechanism…
12. …press the lock…
13. …and disconnect the seat wiring harness connector.
14. Remove the seat from the vehicle interior.
15. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal. Apply anaerobic thread locker to the seat mounting bolts before installation.
