Replacing sun visors (Opel Astra J)

You will need: flat blade screwdriver, TORX T15 key.



1. Rotate the visor to expose the bracket mounting location.



2. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the decorative cover of the visor bracket…



3. …and remove it, overcoming the elastic resistance of the clamps.



4. Remove the three screws securing the sun visor bracket…





5. … remove the bracket from the hole in the ceiling, disconnect the wiring harness connector for the vanity mirror lights from it and remove the sun visor.



6. If necessary, pry off the sun visor holder cap with a screwdriver..



7. …unscrew the holder mounting screw…



8. …and remove the holder.



9. Remove the second sun visor and its holder in the same way.

10. Install the sun visors in the reverse order of removal.
