Clutch hydraulic drive — air removal (Opel Astra G)

1. Remove the cap on the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder, put a hose on the nipple of the cylinder. Lower the other end of the hose into a container partially filled with brake fluid.

2. Bring the fluid level in the tank to the MAX mark.

3. Loosen the bleed nipple by 1 turn. Ask an assistant to press the clutch pedal all the way. Tighten the nipple after the fluid comes out. Ask an assistant to release the pedal.

4. Repeat the procedure until air bubbles stop coming out of the hose with the liquid. Constantly monitor the level - the tank must be filled with liquid.

5. With the pedal pressed, tighten the nipple, put the cap on the nipple and lower the car. Restore the fluid level in the reservoir.
