Coil Booster Module — Removal and Installation (Opel Astra F)

If installed, the module is located on the bracket below the ignition coil.

Remove the ignition coil and booster module bracket as described in the previous section.

The module can be removed from the mounting plate by unscrewing two screws (Fig. 5.23).



Before installing the module, it is necessary to apply a special heat-absorbing compound to the mounting plate to increase heat absorption. The corresponding heat-absorbing mixture should be included with the new module upon purchase.

Install the plate and coil assembly as described in the previous section.
