Removal
1. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it on axle stands.
2. Unscrew the nut securing the reaction rod to the diagonal arm (see illustration). Separate the rod from the lever using a ball joint puller.

3. Disconnect the reaction bar from the rear crossmember (see illustration) and remove it from the car.

4. If the torque rod needs to be disassembled, measure its length to restore the rear wheel alignment angles during subsequent assembly.
Installation
5. Install the torque rod in the reverse order of removal, using new nuts/bolts where necessary (see Specifications). Tighten all fasteners to the specified tightening torque. Finally, have your Opel dealer check the rear wheel alignment.
