Engine Mounting Brackets — Replacement (Opel Omega A)

1. Apply the handbrake. Jack up the front of the car and support it on axle stands.

2. Remove the nuts from the top of both engine mounting brackets, and remove the bolts securing the engine shock absorbers to the mounting brackets.

3. Raise the engine approximately 25mm.

4. Unscrew the lower nuts, remove the engine mounting brackets. It may be necessary to unscrew the engine mounting bracket hangers to increase access.

5. Install the new brackets in the reverse order of removal, the protrusions on the brackets should fit into the recesses on the suspensions.
