2. Set the front wheels straight ahead.
3. Use a lever to remove the horn button from the center of the steering wheel and disconnect the two wires (photo).

4. Insert the ignition key and check that the steering column lock is disengaged.
5. Bend back the locking tab and unscrew the locking nut. Remove the locking tab (photo).


6. Mark the relative positions of the inner column and the steering wheel, then remove the steering wheel by gently rocking it from side to side (photo). Do not use a hammer or mallet.

7. If necessary, unfasten the horn contact ring.
8. Check that the spring is positioned on the inner column (photo) and lightly lubricate the horn contact pin with copper based lubricant.

9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but tighten the nut with the tightening force specified Specification and bend the locking tab.
