Removing
Raise the front of the car and place it on stands. Remove the front wheel, having previously noted its position relative to the hub.
Depending on the version, disconnect the wires from the brake pad wear sensor.
Disconnect the brake hose from the slave cylinder and plug its hole to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
Slide the protective caps off the caliper mounting bolts.
Using a chisel as a lever, lift the metal rings of the protective caps.
Separate and remove the protective caps with a screwdriver.
Loosen the bolts securing the caliper to the steering knuckle with a hex socket wrench.
Remove support.
Installation
Install the caliper and tighten the mounting bolts.
Connect the brake hose with new o-rings.
Using KM 404 1 and KM 404 3 tools, put new protective caps on the caliper mounting bolts. When the caps are correctly sealed, the presence of an elastic air cushion should be felt inside them.
Depending on the modification, connect the wires to the brake pad wear sensor.
Install the front wheel. Bleed the hydraulic brakes and make sure there are no brake fluid leaks.
