Diesel engines and ONS engines
The pressure reducing valve stabilizes the oil pressure. If the oil pressure control pump lights up or flashes, the oil pressure is low. In this case, remove and check the valve.

Engine - ONS: Unscrew the plug next to the crankshaft pulley and remove the valve spring and plunger from there.

Diesel engine: Unscrew the pressure reducing valve, behind the fuel injection pump. Before doing this, raise the car.

Check the ease of movement and contamination of the plunger. If necessary, replace and clean the plunger.
Installation
Install the cleaned plunger and spring, use a new copper gasket for the plug, tighten the plug to 45 Nm.
