Removing
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Loosen the nuts (1) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension.
4. Remove bolts (2) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension.
5. Loosen the nut (3) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension to the steering knuckle. Discard the nut.
6. Remove bolt (1) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension to the steering knuckle. Discard the bolt.
7. Loosen the nut (4) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension to the subframe. Discard the nut.
8. Remove bolt (5) fastening the lower arm of the front suspension to the subframe. Discard the bolt.
Attention. This component is equipped with fasteners that are tightened to the yield point. When installing a component, you must use new fasteners. Failure to do so may result in vehicle damage.
9. Remove the lower front suspension arm (2) from the car.
Installation
1. Place the lower front suspension arm (2) on the subframe and on the steering knuckle.
Note. Install the front suspension lower arm bolts to secure it in place.
2. Install new bolt (5) lower front suspension arm and tighten the nut (4) in two stages:
- Stage one: tighten with a torque of 100 Nm.
- Step Two: Pull another 75°.
3. Install new bolt (1) lower front suspension arm and tighten the nut (3) in two stages:
- Stage one: tighten with a torque of 115 Nm.
- Stage two: hold on another 125°.
4. Install new bolts (2) lower front suspension arm and tighten the nuts (1) in two stages:
- Stage one: tighten with a torque of 100 Nm.
- Step Two: Pull another 75°.
5. Install the front wheel on the car.
6. Lower the car and remove it from the lift.
