Note: For safety reasons, tyres should be replaced when the tread depth is 2–3 mm. The minimum legal tread depth (1.6 mm) is reached when the tread wears down to the wear indicator. Several wear indicators are applied at equal distances from each other in the recesses of the running surface. Their positions are also indicated by indicators on the sidewall of the tyre.
All vehicles manufactured by Opel/GM are equipped with tire wear indicators. For the use of snow chains, see Chapter 1 "User manual".
In the case of tires with a tread pattern related to the direction of rotation, pay attention to the direction of rotation marking when replacing the tires. Replace tires only in alignment.
