Central floor section — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Pry up and remove the trim under the parking brake lever (see photo).



3. Remove the parking brake lever boot (see photo).



4. Remove the gear shift boot (see photo).



5. On models with automatic transmission, remove the selector boot.

6. At the front of the section, pry up and remove the seat heating switch.



7. On models with a TC brake system, also remove the brake system switch.

8. The further procedure for removing the floor section is illustrated in the photo.

















9. The section is installed in reverse order.
