2. Move the generator to a clean workbench and place it with the pulley facing down.
3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the plastic cover.

4. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the two screws securing the brush assembly.


5. If the brushes are worn or damaged, replace the brush assembly.
6. Clean and check the condition of the working surface of the rotor rings; if signs of excessive wear or mechanical damage are detected, replace the generator assembly.
7. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.

8. Finally, install the generator in its original place (see Removal and installation the generator).
