Removal and installation components of the electric drive of rear-view mirrors (Opel Astra G)

Switches

The switches are installed on the front doors of the car.

1. Using a screwdriver, carefully pry the switch out of the door trim panel.

2. Disconnect the wiring and remove the switch.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Drive electric motor

1. Remove the outside mirror assembly (see Removal and installation door rear view mirrors) and its glass (see Removal and installation the glass of the door rearview mirror).

2. Remove the three mounting screws and remove the mirror housing motor, then disconnect the wiring.



3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the wiring laid behind the electric motor does not get frayed when the mechanism is activated.
