Transmission fluid — replacement (Opel Omega B)

The automatic transmission does not have a drain hole, so if you need to drain the transmission fluid, you will need to remove the main pan and, if necessary, the intermediate pan.

8. Clean both pans thoroughly. Clean metal particles from the magnet installed in the pan. Clean the threads of the pan bolts.



9. Install the filter and tighten its bolts.

10. Install the intermediate pan together with a new gasket. Apply sealant N15 10 181 to the bolt threads and tighten the bolts to the required tightening torque.

11. Install the gasket on the main pan. Apply sealant to the bolts. Install the pan and tighten the bolts.

12. Fill with the correct grade of transmission fluid and check its level.

13. Drive a short distance and check the fluid level again.
