Drain and fill
1. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.
2. Unscrew the plug of the hole to check the fluid level.
3. Drain the liquid into a suitable container.
4. Unscrew bolts of the pallet of a transmission. Remove the pan and its gasket.
5. Unscrew bolts of the intermediate pallet and remove it. Drain the liquid into a container prepared for this.
6. Unscrew the fastening bolts (indicated by arrows).
7. Remove the transmission filter. Clean and inspect the filter, replace if necessary.
8. Thoroughly clean both trays. Clean off metal particles from the magnet installed in the tray. Clean the threads of the pan bolts.
9. Install the filter and tighten its bolts.
10. Install the intermediate pan with a new gasket. Apply sealant N15 10 181 to the threads of the bolts and tighten the bolts to the correct torque.
11. Install the gasket on the main pan. Apply sealant to the bolts. Install the pallet and tighten the bolts.
12. Fill with the correct brand of transmission fluid and check the level.
13. Drive a short distance and check the fluid level again.
