Unlocking the gear shift lever (Opel Omega B)

On later models, if the battery is disconnected and the gearshift lever is in the park (P) position, it will be locked. To unlock the lever, follow these steps:.



1. Remove the gear shift boot.



2. Press the yellow lever (indicated by the arrow), located to the left of the gear shift lever.

The four-speed automatic transmission is electronically controlled and has three operating modes: economy mode for everyday use, sport mode and winter mode.
