Crankshaft seals — replacement (Opel Omega B)

Front crankshaft oil seal

1. Remove the crankshaft sprocket



2. Drill two holes in the seal, screw in the screws and remove the seal.

3. Clean the seal groove thoroughly.

4. Lubricate the new seal with oil and hammer it into place.

Rear crankshaft oil seal

1. Remove the flywheel.

2. Drill two holes in the seal, screw in the screws and remove the seal. Install a new seal.

3. Install the flywheel back into place.
