Removing
1. Remove the front wheels.
2. Loosen the fixing nut.
3. Using a ball joint splitter (left) disconnect the rod from the pivot pin (on right).
4. Loosen the pinch bolt and unscrew the rod from the tube by counting the exact number of turns.
5. To remove the center tie rod, first remove the outer tie rods.
6. Mark the installation position of the central tie rod (indicated by arrow, engine and gearbox removed).
7. Unscrew the nut (arrow) attaching the central tie rod to the steering arm.
8. Unscrew the nut (arrow) fixing the central steering rod to the steering gear lever.
9. Disconnect the linkage from the steering arm and steering arm.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Tighten all fixing nuts to the required tightening torque.
