Inspection
1. Check the tightness of the disc mounting screw. Rotate the disc and inspect it for deep scratches or grooves. If these are present, the disc surface must be ground.
2. Check the runout of the brake disc.
3. Check the thickness of the brake disc at several points using a micrometer. If the brake disc requires replacement, the brake disc of the other wheel must also be replaced.
Removal
1. Remove the brake pads and brake caliper.
2. To remove the front wheel brake disc, unscrew the mounting screw.
3. Remove the front brake disc.
4. To remove the rear wheel brake disc, unscrew the handbrake adjusting screw and unscrew the mounting screws.
5. Remove the rear brake disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
