Inspection
Inspect the brake pads for wear and measure their thickness with a ruler. If any of the brake pads require replacement, all four brake pads on both wheels must be replaced along with the anti-noise pads.
Removal

1. Knock out the upper mounting pin of the anti-noise springs.

2. Remove the anti-noise spring.

3. Knock out the bottom pin.

4. Using pliers or a special tool, spread the brake pads slightly apart.

5. Remove the brake pads.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination

1. Lower the pistons into the caliper.

2. Check that the cutouts on the pistons are turned downwards at approximately 23° from the horizontal.

3. Lubricate the back surface of the linings with high temperature grease.

4. Replace the mounting pins.
