Trunk lid — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Open the trunk lid and mark the position of the bolts on the hinges with a pencil (photo).



2. On models equipped with a rear spoiler, disconnect the air strut.

3. With the help of an assistant, unscrew the hinge bolts and remove the trunk lid.

4. Torsion springs can be removed using special GM tools: KM-125 and KM-614, otherwise there is a risk of breaking them.

5. If necessary, the lock can be removed by disconnecting the rod and removing the mounting screws (photo).





6. Assembly is performed in the reverse order. Check that the trunk lid is installed correctly (photo).
