2. Lubricate the door hinges, hood and trunk lid hinges, or the rear door hinges with a small amount of grease.
3. Apply a small amount of grease to the contact surfaces of all locks, strike plates and door closing levers (photo).

4. Carefully inspect the air conditioning pipes for damage.
5. Remove the radiator grille (Chapter 11) and using a soft brush, clean the surface of the condenser from dry leaves, dirt, etc. Finally, install the radiator grille back in place.
6. Inspect the car from underneath for mechanical damage and traces of corrosion. Check the condition of the anti-corrosion coating.
