When raising the backrests, pull the seat belts slightly forward. Lock the rear seat back until you hear a click in the intermediate or end position. The lock indicator is located on the pull handles. With the rear seatback properly locked, the red field on the pull handle should not be visible.
Lower the rear seat down and insert between the back of the rear seat and the floor of the vehicle. Lock the rear seat until it clicks into place by pushing on the front edge.
Install the head restraints.
The three-point seat belt in the center rear seat can only be pulled out of the retractor when the rear seatback is locked.
