Below is a description of the functions performed by each of the controls.
Option A (on the left in the illustration)
Roller adjuster left panel (20)
When equipped with an infotainment system with a BID and GID information display, rotating the roller controller selects menu items, moves the cursor, and manually searches for / tunes in radio stations.
When operating the on-board computer (see Section 17) (for system with BID and GID displays) pressing the left jog dial enters the computer menu and confirms the selection of the menu item. In addition, when the system is equipped with a BID monitor, holding the knob down for about 2 seconds resets the selected on-board computer parameter - holding the wheel down for about 4 seconds resets all on-board computer parameters.
Button (21)
By pressing this button:
- in the radio playback mode, it switches to the next preset radio station;
- in audio CD playback mode, disc playback starts from the first music track;
- MP3 disc playback mode skips to the next album (catalog).
Button (22)
This button selects the playback mode of the audio system - each time you press the system, the system will switch from the radio playback mode to the CD player mode and vice versa.
Buttons (23) And (24)
These buttons allow you to tune in to the next/previous radio station or skip forward/reverse by one track while playing a CD.
Roller adjuster right panel (25)
Turning the jog dial up or down will increase or decrease the playback volume accordingly.
Keeping the knob pressed, the volume will change gradually.
Option B (on the right in the illustration)
Button (26)
This button, when the system is equipped with a TIG information display, in radio playback mode allows you to tune in to a radio station broadcasting at a higher frequency, and in CD playback mode, switch to playing the next record. When equipped with a GID display, the button (26) used to move the cursor left or up.
Button (27)
This button, when the system is equipped with a TIG information display, in radio playback mode allows you to tune in to a radio station broadcasting at a lower frequency, and in CD playback mode, switch to playing the previous record.
When equipped with a GID display, the button (26) used to move the cursor to the right or down.
Button (28)
When this button is pressed while operating a system equipped with a three-function display (TID), radio play mode switches to the next preset radio station, and audio CD play mode starts disc playback from the first track.
Note: There is no MP3 disc playback control function.
When operating the on-board computer on systems with a GID display, pressing the button enters the computer menu and confirms the menu item selection.
Note: On models equipped with an on-board computer and a graphical information display, when the radio or CD player is operating, the buttons (26), (27) And (28) do not perform any function.
Button (22)
This button selects the playback mode of the audio system - each time you press the system, the system will switch from the radio playback mode to the CD player mode and vice versa.
Buttons (30) And (31)
When you click on the corresponding button, the playback volume will increase or decrease.
