Air filter — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

Astra Models

1. Disconnect the filter air intake from the filter and throttle pipe by removing the clamps and unscrewing the screws (see photo). Disconnect the vacuum hose from the filter housing. On single-injector engines, also disconnect the hot air pipe.







2. Disconnect the hoses, wires and remove the filter housing (see photo)

Model Zafira

3. Remove the engine compartment seal and the water-repellent shield in front of the windshield.

4. Loosen the nuts and bolts and remove the panel covering the engine compartment bulkhead and air filter.

5. Disconnect the air ducts, hoses and wires, remove the filter.

6. Install the air filter in reverse order (see photo).
