Door lock — removal and installation (Opel Omega B2)

Attention! If the central lock drive electric motor and the door lock were separated during disassembly, the electric motor must be adjusted correctly during installation. Otherwise, the central lock or security alarm may not work.

Removal

1. Remove the door trim and detach the insulating film near the lock.

2. Disconnect the lock rods.

3. Unscrew the bolts 5 securing the lock with a T40 socket wrench and remove it (see illustration).

Installation

4. Secure the drive rods to the lock.

5. Install the lock on the mounting place and attach it to the door (see illustration).



6. Install the door opening handle and adjust the central lock if necessary.

7. Stick the insulating film with double-sided tape.

8. Install the door trim.
