Removal
Attention! To facilitate subsequent installation, it is recommended to tie strings to the wires and hoses that will remain in the door cavity.
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the upper part 1 of the rear door trim by removing the plugs 2 with a small screwdriver (see illustration).

3. Remove the handle cover 4, bend back the trim 6 and unscrew the bolts 3 (see illustration 15.2).
4. Disconnect the rear door glass washer hose.
5. Disconnect the plugs for the wiper and alarm system, as well as the central locking motor and rear window heater.
6. Remove the wire harness from the door.
7. Support the open rear door and detach its gas-filled struts (see illustration 15.8).

8. Remove the thrust rings, remove the pins from the hinges and remove the rear door, working with an assistant (see illustration 15.8).

Installation
The rear hatch door is installed in the reverse order of removal. When installing the door, it is necessary to observe the gaps (see illustration 15.0).

If necessary, adjust the door by loosening the bolts securing the door hinges to the body.
Nominal clearance values:
- p. 3 = 6.5±1 mm,
- p. 4 = 5±1 mm.
The tightening torque of the door hinge bolts is 20 Nm.
