Half shaft — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Unscrew the bolts securing the axle shaft to the rear wheel hub.

2. Remove the axle shaft from the hub.

3. Press the axle shaft away from the final drive and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.



2. Tighten the axle shaft mounting bolts to the specified torque.



3. Tighten the bolts to the required angle.
