1. Limited slip differential (0 – installed, 1 – not installed)
2. Gear ratio
The type of final drive can be determined from the plate attached to the bottom of the final drive housing.
Removal
1. Remove both axle shafts.
2. Lower the exhaust pipes.
3. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the final drive.
4. Place a support under the final drive and disconnect the ABS sensor connectors.
5. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the final drive.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the oil level
1. Remove the cap (B), unscrew the plug (A) and check that the oil is level with the lower edge of the hole.
2. Add oil if necessary and tighten the plug to the specified torque.
Filling oil
Fill with the required type of oil as indicated in subsection 10.1.
