POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION
|
ELIMINATION METHOD
|
1. Empty fuel tank or clogged vent valve tank |
Fill the tank, flush the fuel lines, clean the ventilation
valve.
|
2. Presence of air in the fuel system |
Bleed the fuel system, eliminate air leakage.
|
3. Faulty diesel solenoid valve or regulator starting fuel supply |
Repair or replace.
|
4. Clogged fuel filter |
Replace fuel filter.
|
5. Clogged low pressure fuel lines |
Restore the flow sections of the fuel lines.
|
6. Clogged low pressure fuel lines |
Flush or replace fuel lines.
|
7. Loose connections, fuel lines leaking or broken |
Tighten the connections, fix the leak.
|
8. Wax deposits in the fuel filter |
Replace filter, use seasonal fuel.
|
9. Incorrect advance of fuel injection |
Adjust the initial fuel injection advance angle.
|
10. Faulty injector nozzles |
Repair or replace.
|
11. Clogged air filter | Replace filter element. |
12. Faulty preheating system | Replace faulty spark plugs. |
13. The distribution of the injection on the cylinders does not match the order their work | Reposition high pressure fuel lines in the required order. |
14. Abnormal idle speed | Adjust the idle speed screw. |
15. Abnormal maximum idle speed | Adjust the screw for maximum speed engine. |
16. Clogged or defective bypass valve | Clean calibrated channel or replace valve. |
17. Discharge valve leaking (on a four-cylinder diesel) or two valves (on a six-cylinder) |
Replace valve (s).
|
18. The force of the buffer spring of the diesel speed controller not regulated | Adjust buffer spring force. |
19. Faulty fuel advance clutch | Repair or replace clutch. |
20. Low compression | Restore compression. |
21. Faulty or out of adjustment speed controller engine | Adjust or replace regulator. |
22. The high pressure fuel pump is defective or cannot be regulation | Remove the pump and send it in for repair. |
