When disassembling a 5-speed gearbox, to remove the input shaft and the output shaft with the reverse gear, the rod and the I-II shift fork from the intermediate gearbox housing, squeeze the input shaft retaining ring with pliers and hold in this position (see photo), while unscrewing the bolts securing the V gear fork bracket.
When disassembling the output shaft:
- remove the circlip and compress the ball bearing, spacer, thrust needle bearing and 1st gear gear;
- remove the needle bearing of the 1st gear gear;
- remove the blocking ring of the synchronizer of the 1st gear;
- remove the circlip of the synchronizer of I and II gears and press the synchronizer of I-II gears and the gear of the II gear;
- remove the retaining ring and two thrust half rings;
- remove the 3rd gear gear, 3rd gear synchronizer blocking ring and needle bearing;
- remove the retaining ring of the synchronizer of the III and IV gears and press the synchronizer of the III and IV gears and the gear of the IV gear;
- remove the needle bearing, circlip and two thrust washers and roller bearing.
