Note: Removal and installation of the gearbox shafts, as well as disassembly and assembly of the differential, can be performed without removing the gearbox. Before removing the shafts, it is necessary to extend the gearbox input shaft as far as it will go, as described in the "Clutch" section, and remove the rear gearbox cover.
Removal and installation of gearboxes of types "F16" and "F20" is carried out in the same way as gearboxes of type "F10" (see section "Gearboxes of types "F10" and "F13"").
