Checking the radial runout of the crankshaft (Opel Insignia A)

            0

1. Insert the crankshaft into the cylinder block.

2. Install the GE-571-B dial indicator:
  • Install the dial indicator bracket to the cylinder block.
  • Place the dial indicator plunger against the crankshaft main journal and adjust.

3. Slowly rotate the crankshaft and check its radial runout. The maximum permissible value of the crankshaft radial runout is 0.03 mm.

4. Remove the dial indicator.
