Electrical equipment faults (Opel Astra J)

Most often, electrical equipment malfunctions occur during everyday use of a car. For objective reasons, electrical equipment repairs should preferably be carried out by qualified car service specialists.

Warning! Electrical equipment malfunction (short circuit) may cause electrical wiring to ignite and cause a fire.

If any electrical circuit fails, first check whether the fuse protecting it has blown, referring to Tables 10.1 and 10.2 (see Mounting blocks).



Replace the faulty fuse. Repeated blowing of the same fuse is a signal for immediate repair of the corresponding electrical circuit.
