A new cover sealing ring will be required during installation.
1. On petrol models, the fuel gauge is located on the same frame as the fuel pump and is fixed to the side of the latter's housing. Proceed as directed - see. Removal and installation the fuel pump - petrol models.
2. To remove the sensor, carefully release its fastening elements (1 - retainer), then pull up to release the sensor from the support.
3. On diesel engines the sensor is located in a frame lowered into the fuel tank - proceed according to the instructions - see. Removal and installation the fuel pump - petrol models.
4. When removing the sensor from the hole in the tank and installing it back, try to avoid deformation of the measuring float lever.
