General information about the car body (Opel Vectra B)

            0

The car has a monocoque body.

The body is made from stamped and welded parts, including crumple zones at the front and rear and a rigid center section.

Safety precautions when performing welding work

When performing welding or other work involving strong sparks near the location of the battery, be sure to remove the battery.

It is prohibited to weld or solder parts of a filled air conditioner. This also applies to those vehicle components whose welding may cause the air conditioner parts to heat up. When carrying out repair and painting work in a drying oven or in its heating zone, the temperature must not exceed +80°C.
