Starter — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the shield from underneath the engine.

2.0L engine

2. Disconnect the wires from the solenoid relay.

3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the starter.

2.5 and 3.0 liter engines

4. Remove the right engine mount and mounting bracket.

5. Disconnect the wires from the solenoid relay.

6. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the starter.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
