Repair operations on the engine installed in the vehicle (Opel Omega B)

The following operations can be performed without removing the engine from the vehicle:

• check compression pressure;
• removing and installing the cylinder head cover;
• removing and installing the chain cover;
• removing and installing the chain;
• removing and installing the chain tensioner;
• removal and installation of the camshaft and tappets;
• removing and installing the cylinder head;
• removal and installation of pistons and connecting rods;
• removing and installing the oil pan;
• removing and installing the oil pump;
• removal and installation of oil radiator;
• replacement of crankshaft sealing rings;
• replacement of powertrain mounts;
• removing and installing the flywheel.
