Removal
1. Remove the appropriate wheel.
2. Remove the brake caliper.

3. Remove the mounting clamp.

4. Remove the hydraulic hose from the bracket on the strut.
5. Remove the ABS sensor.
6. Loosen the mounting nut and disconnect the anti-roll bar.

7. Mark the installation position of the steering knuckle.

8. Loosen the mounting bolts.

9. Remove the mounting bolts and trunnion.

10. Remove the cap.

11. Unscrew the top mounting nut.

12. Remove the disc.

13. Hold the shock absorber piston rod to prevent it from rotating.

14. Remove the rack from the vehicle.
Repair

1. Install the compressors on the spring.

2. Secure the shock absorber rod.

3. Remove the bearing.

4. Remove the washer.

5. Remove the bearing.

6. Remove the washer.

7. Remove the upper spring seat, upper damper, stop and housing.
8. Remove the spring.
9. Clean all components and inspect them for wear or damage. Replace any defective components.
10. Check the operation of the shock absorber.
11. The assembly of the rack elements is carried out in reverse order.

12. Install the rubber damper onto the lower spring seat.

13. Install the spring onto the lower seat.

14. Install the rubber damper onto the upper spring seat.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
