The electrical equipment of the OPEL KADETT is powered by a direct current of 12 V. The source is an alternating current generator with a device for regulating the voltage and charging current. The water tank is connected by hoses to two nozzles.

The instruments include a dashboard with a speedometer, fuel gauge, mileage counter and indicator lights for oil pressure, generator charging current, high beam and direction indicators.

The ignition system consists of an ignition coil, ignition cables and spark plugs.
