2. Remove the engine oil pan.
3. Turn the crankshaft in such a way as to obtain the most convenient access to the necessary connecting rod bolts.
4. Loosen the connecting rod bolts and remove the connecting rod cover with the lower connecting rod bearing.

Note.
- Mark the connecting rod caps for correct installation later.
- The connecting rod and cap joint surfaces are uniquely shaped to fit in one position, so the connecting rods and caps must not fall. Do not treat the joint surfaces.
5. Remove any possible carbon deposits from the surface of the upper part of the cylinder.
6. Push the piston with the connecting rod out of the cylinder through the top.
7. Similarly, remove the pistons with connecting rods from the remaining cylinders.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the cylinder bore surface, piston rings and piston surfaces.
