Caution: The new contact disc must be centered. Incorrect centering of the contact disc may cause damage to it, which will cause malfunction of the driver's airbag.
1. Before centering the contact disk, the following conditions must be met:
- The front wheels of the vehicle must be set in the position for the vehicle to move straight ahead.
- The centering mark (1) on the steering shaft must be at the 6 o'clock position (strictly centered at the bottom).

2. Turn the contact disk cam clockwise until it stops. Do not apply force.
3. Turn the contact disk cam counterclockwise approximately 3 turns to set it to the neutral position.
4. Align the contact disk properly until the centering window (1) is completely filled with yellow. This indicates the central position of the contact disk.
