Attention. The new contact disc must be centered. Improper centering of the contact disk can cause damage to the contact disk, which will cause malfunctions of the driver's airbag.
1. Before centering the contact disk, the following conditions must be met:
- The front wheels of the vehicle must be set to the straight ahead position.
- Centering mark (1) on the steering shaft must be in the 6 o'clock position (strictly centered at the bottom).
2. Turn the contact disc cam clockwise until it stops. Don't force.
3. Rotate the contact plate cam counterclockwise approximately 3 turns to set it to neutral.
4. Align the contact disc appropriately so that the centering window (1) completely filled with yellow. This indicates the center position of the contact disk.
