Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Remove the lower lining of the instrument panel (see «Throttle pedal - replacement»).
3. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the coupling bolt securing the steering shaft cardan joint to the steering gear shaft.
4. We compress the telescopic axis of the steering shaft and shift the hinge from the steering shaft.
5. Using a TORX E10 socket wrench, unscrew the coupling bolt securing the upper universal joint of the steering shaft.
6. We shift the hinge from the steering column shaft and completely remove the steering shaft.
7. We install the parts in the reverse order, making sure that the front wheels and the steering wheel are installed in a straight position. We combine the groove on the steering gear shaft with the hole AND the coupling bolt of the hinge, fix the upper hinge along the guides on the steering column shaft.
