Removal
1. Apply the handbrake, jack up the front of the car and place it on axle stands. Remove the left wheel.
2. Disconnect the central steering rod from the lever by unscrewing the nut and separating the ball joint with a special puller.
3. Unscrew the nut from the base of the pendulum arm bracket and remove the heat shield and pendulum arm. Note that it is not possible to replace the arm bushing separately from the arm.
4. If necessary, remove the swing arm bracket bolts from the bottom.
Installation
5. Install in reverse order, using new self-locking nuts. Tighten the nuts and bolts to the specified tightening torque Specifications. When installing the swing arm bracket bolts, apply a small amount of locking compound to their threads.
