Air flow meter
1. Switch off the ignition and disconnect the electrical connector from the air flow meter (the arrows indicate the clamps for fastening the air flow meter).
2. Loosen the clamps, release the airflow meter from the intake ports and remove it.
3. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
Air temperature sensor
Warning! On high pressure turbo engines, the air temperature sensor is an integral part of the air flow meter.
1. Switch off the ignition, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sensor from the intake port.
2. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
Accelerator pedal position sensor
1. In the passenger compartment, unscrew the clips and remove the trim from the lower part of the instrument panel on the driver's side.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor located on the top of the pedal.
3. Remove the linkage ball joint bracket and remove the linkage from the sensor.
4. Unscrew the screws and remove the sensor from the pedal bracket.
5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
Crankshaft sensor
1. Unscrew screws and remove a plastic casing from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. To access the sensor, lift the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
3. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector from the wiring harness.
4. Unscrew the bolt and remove the sensor (indicated by an arrow) from the cylinder block.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, while it is necessary to install a new sealing ring on the sensor.
Coolant temperature sensor
The sensor is installed on the front right side of the cylinder head.
Overpressure sensor
1. Unscrew screws and remove a plastic casing from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Remove the screws securing the wiring harness bracket to the top of the intake manifold and disconnect the electrical connector (indicated by an arrow) from the overpressure sensor.
3. Unscrew the bolt and remove the sensor from the top of the intake manifold.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, while it is necessary to install a new sealing ring on the sensor.
Oil temperature sensor
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Drain the engine oil. Install a new O-ring on the oil drain plug and screw it into the oil pan.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor from the front of the oil pan.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Fill the engine with engine oil.
Electronic control device (ecu)
1. Remove the wiper arms and remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Unscrew the plastic nuts from the axles of the wiper arms.
3. Remove the rubber seal from the top of the engine bulkhead.
4. Remove the plastic casing from the base of the windshield.
5. Unscrew nuts and remove a protective casing of the block ECU.
6. Release the clips and disconnect the electrical connector from the ECU.
7. Remove the nuts and remove the ECU.
8. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
