Instrument panel — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Remove the steering wheel, steering column covers, ignition switch and combination switches.



2. Open the fuse box cover and disconnect the loop.



3. Remove the pins.



4. Remove the fuse box cover.



5. Remove the right end trim panel.





6. Remove the headlight switch and remove the interior temperature control panel light bulb.



7. Remove the ventilation grille.



8. Loosen the mounting screws.



9. Remove the headlight switch/grille trim panel.





10. Loosen the mounting screws.



11. Remove the right section of the instrument panel.

12. Remove the glove compartment.

13. Remove the left end trim panel.

14. Remove the socket with the light bulb.



15. Loosen the mounting screws.



16. Remove the grill.





17. Unscrew the mounting screws



18. Remove the left section of the instrument panel.

19. Remove the passenger air bag module.



20. Remove the grates.



21. Loosen the mounting screws.





22. Remove the trim panel.

23. Remove the instrument panel.

24. Remove the interior temperature control panel and center console.

25. Disconnect the air ducts from the instrument panel.



26. Remove the wiring harness from its mounting on the instrument panel behind the relay panel.



27. Remove the retaining clips on the interior temperature control panel.





28. Remove the handles.



29. Remove the trim panels from the front pillars.



30. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the instrument panel.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
